Acadia Ampang

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Rising from the former site of the New Zealand embassy in Kuala Lumpur, two curving towers lightly embrace a central garden terrace. Together they include 429 residential units, each served by its own elevator stop.

Set within a park in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, the two towers define a central garden terrace that provides shelter for a series of amenities and community services below. Forty-story walls planted with greenery surround an internal courtyard, creating an oasis. Acres of park, punctuated by mature original trees, reflecting pools, sculpture, and gardens define the site. Upper level sky gardens throughout the complex recall the lush park below.

Design features promote energy conservation and sustainability, including a rainwater management system, green roof, renewable construction products, and windows designed to limit heat gain.
